Work experience

Michéle completed her articles at Weavind & Weavind Attorneys in December 2018, where she gained vaulable experience in drafting of pleadings, notices and affidavits; High Court and Magistrate’s Court trial and motion procedures and practice; Liquidation Applications and Sequestration proceedings; Foreclosure procedures: Michéle attended to several court appearances in the Magistrate’s Court; she drafted various legal agreements; gained experience in Labour law practise and drafted Labour law contracts.

Michéle was recently involved in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. She was actively involved in investigations of contraventions of the Exchange Control Regulations and the prosecution of offenders.

Michéle’s main focus is Corporate and Commercial litigation, specifically in banking, insurance law and insolvency related matters.

During her quiet time, you may find Michéle outdoors and travelling. She has a passion for animals, jogging and trying new cuisine with friends and family.
