Work experience

Joy is an admitted attorney, notary public and conveyancer with right of appearance in High Court.

She started her career as a teacher in higher education.

She completed her articles at Hahn & Hahn Incorporated, an intellectual property law firm, where she gained invaluable experience in consumer related matters, inter alia reviewing of major enterprises’ contracts to ensure compliance with the Consumer Protection Act. She was also actively involved in reviewing product labelling to ensure compliance with Labelling Regulations and relevant legislation.

Joy joined Alant, Gell & Martin Incorporated in 2015, after living abroad for a number of years.

Her range of expertise include the following: setting up of trusts, civil litigation, drafting of wills, administration of deceased estates, consumer protection related work, registration and maintaining of business enterprises, family law (divorce), company law, notarial work, as well as conveyancing.
